Doug Barth, CEO, founded SimplyDIRECT in 1997 after starting two earlier direct marketing companies. A pioneer in using surveys deployed into target accounts, his is the original ABM (Account Based Marketing) model. Barth was an account manager at BBDO Direct, VP of marketing at Strategic Software, and GM at The Programmer’s Shop. He holds degrees from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and Amherst College, and serves on the boards of Ti SALES, LinearAir and the MetroWest Free Medical Program. Certified as an FAA flight instructor, he has flown everything from hang gliders to twin engine aircraft.
Lisa Vitale, President, brings more than 20 years of marketing strategy experience to SimplyDIRECT, focusing on delivering client campaigns on schedule and on spec. She started at SimplyDIRECT as its CFO. Previously, Lisa worked for the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and Phillip Johnson & Associates. She is the founder of the Sudbury Day Festival, and is a member of EO Boston (Entrepreneurs Organization). Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Maine.
Isabelle Kane, Senior Vice President of Sales, is a widely recognized authority on inbound and content marketing who has 25 years of marketing experience. She has held numerous marketing leadership roles, and is guided by the mantra: “Everything is measurable, with a little ingenuity and creativity.” Isabelle is committed to leveraging the ways that intent data can nurture leads and close sales when paired with content marketing strategy. Isabelle earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Harvard Extension School and has lectured extensively on marketing, in roles as a strategic business advisor, consultant and adjunct professor.
